Jonathan Lorenzini is a full-time employee at Mediacom. Currently, he is a Search Manager of Analytics working on search accounts for all Dell business units. Previously, Lorenzini worked on the Dell Consumer account, which provided the opportunity to work on direct response-focused (Consumer) and awareness-focused (Public & Large Enterprise) types of search accounts.
Search tools that Lorenzini has worked with in his time at Mediacom include Marin, Zap Search, Google Adwords Editor, Microsoft adCenter Desktop, AdGooroo, Insights for Search, Google Ad Preview Tool, Google Keyword Tool, Google Analytics and Traffic Estimator.
During his time at Mediacom, Lorenzini has taught himself Visual Basic scripting (VBA) and how to create Add-Ins within Excel. Using these skills, he has automated dozens of routine tasks and reports necessary to maintain larger, time-intensive accounts. The coding and dashboards Lorenzini created have saved the Dell search team over fifteen hours of work per week, allowing other specialists and himself to take on higher-level optimization tasks. Prior to Mediacom, Lorenzini worked at MediaVest as a Print Associate on a Bristol-Myers Squibb account. He assisted in the development of print media plans for 2010 and 2011. He also worked with top level management to develop reporting tools for print.
Working with Virgin Mobile as a digital marketing and e-commerce intern, Lorenzini participated in a variety of projects, including comparative analysis of competitors’ Web sites, increasing customer retention after acquiring Helio, testing live customer support software, and creating social media strategies using Twitter, Digg, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. Lorenzini created Virgin Mobile’s twitter account which currently has over 17,600 followers.
From 2006 to 2012, Lorenzini worked at the Anheuser-Busch InBev brewery in Newark, NJ. He is a filler operator on the can line and oversees the canning of 30,000 cases of beer per shift. Lorenzini initiated product changeovers, repaired industrial equipment and troubleshot millions of dollars worth of equipment.
In his free time, Lorenzini enjoys photojournalism, dancing, kickball, inner tube water polo (yes it’s real ask ESPN), brewing beer and learning new computer languages. He is currently fermenting a Russian imperial stout, teaching himself PHP and SQL and looking to purchasing a new SLR digital camera.
